Rotational Molding

Over the past two decades, several improvements in the process control and developments with plastic powders have helped lead to a significant increase in the usage of this process. In rotational moulding, a hollow mould (heated) is filled with a shot weight or charge of material.
The mould is then rotated slowly, which causes the softened raw material to disperse and stick to the walls of the mould. The mould keeps rotating throughout the heating as well as the cooling phase in order to maintain even thickness and to avoid sagging or deformation.
