Liquid paint can be applied in many different ways. The type of industrial application process performed in surface Treatment units in Indiais determined by the product, the volume, the quality requirements and other factors.
Automatic rotary bells or disks, automatic guns, high volume low pressure (HVLP) guns, conventional handheld spray guns, etc. can be used to apply paint by the spray method.Typicallythe paint that is used for wet on wet processes is polyurethane or epoxy, and is normally baked. The equipment used in the spraying process can be electrostatic or non-electrostatic.
Not every area can be reached easily when it comes to painting with a spray, especially corners and crevices. Electrophoretic technology is much more appropriate for depositing primer paint to providing high corrosion resistance, followed by a spray with a top coat of paint.
Larger components requiredifferent treatments, like being shot blasted and phosphated, followed by primer coat, and applied either through electrophoretic coating ormanually.
Followed by a spray with a top coat (generally poly urethane) it is then force dried at 70-80 degrees centigrade.
For plastic parts, spray coating is used.
